The aim of this scholarship is to attract students who cannot afford to pay the full tuition fee but have good academic and English test results to study this Programme.
The criteria of the scholarship:
(i) The student must satisfy a minimum score of 7.0 in International English Language Testing System; or
(ii) The student must satisfy a minimum score of 540 in CET-6 English test; and
(iii) The student should have good GPA in his/her undergraduate studies. Members of the Programme Board will assess each application on a case by case basis.
(iv) Students who belong to ethnic minority or are disabled (EM&D) have the priority to a full-scholarship.**
(v) Students awarded with the admission scholarship must obtain a GPA of at least 2.5 in the first semester of the full time study.
A scholarship of HK$10,000 maximum will be offered and the MSc in EPHM Programme Board reserves the right of final decision in case of dispute.

**This condition is triggered: a) when the applicant is one of the last to fill the quota for admission scholarship for the academic year, or/and b) the applicant fulfils either condition (ii) or (iii) but not both. In any academic year, no more than two EM&D students can enjoy such priority.**
The aim of the scholarship is to encourage more candidates with working experience to upgrade their skills and knowledge and to raise the technical standards of practitioners in environmental management and public health management in Hong Kong.
The criteria of the scholarship:
Applicants eligible for this scholarship must, at the time of study, be in full-time employment in the environmental and/or public health fields. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their work duties are directly relevant to environmental management or environmental science or public health management at the time of application.
Members of the Programme Board will assess each application on a case by case basis by the following criteria.
(i) job relevance, evidence of career commitment, reliability of the evidence, recommendations from the employer (50% combined),
(ii) academic merits (50%) of the applicants and any other criteria as deemed appropriate.
(iii) Students awarded with the admission scholarship must obtain a GPA of at least 2.5 in the first year of the part-time study.
A scholarship of HK$10,000 maximum will be offered and the MSc in EPHM Programme Board reserves the right of final decision in case of dispute.

Award criteria:
(i) Part-time student upon take up of the EPHM study
(ii) Students who at the time of study are in full-time employment in the environmental and/or public health fields.
(iii) Other criteria to be considered: job relevance, reliability of the evidence, evidence of career commitment, recommendations from the employer, etc.
* Applicants of the part-time admission scholarship can choose to transfer the application for the Bursary should his/her application to the part-time admission scholarship is not successful.*
The awards of $5,000 each are awarded and it will be decided by the Programme board.

The scholarships should be offered on merit grounds with TWO awardees from every group of graduates in an academic year.
The criteria of the award:
(i) The top TWO students with the highest GPA in the graduation group and;
(ii) The student must also have a GPA above 3.5.
A scholarship of $10,000 maximum each is awarded to six outstanding graduates (two graduates from each group) and it will be decided by the Programme Board.
The criteria of the award:
(i) Author of a SCI paper during the study or within one year of graduation
(ii) The SCI journal must have an impact factor of 0.5 or higher
(iii) Joint authorship with dissertation supervisor
An award of $2,000 each and awardees will be decided by the Programme Board
The criteria of the scholarship:
(i) Full time student upon take up of the study.
(ii) The student must satisfy a minimum score of 6.5 in International English Language Testing System(IELTS); or
The student must satisfy a minimum score of 500 in CET-6 English test; and
(iii) The student should have at least a graduation GPA of 3.5 from the SZU in his/her undergraduate studies.
(iv) Students not meeting the GPA requirement stated in (iii) can also be awarded the scholarship if there are very strong recommendations from SZU.
(v) Students should also provide a personal statement that is judged satisfactory by the Programme.
(vi) Students awarded with the admission scholarship must obtain a GPA of at least 2.5 in the first semester of the full time study.
Members of the Programme Board will assess each application on a case by case basis.
