There are two classifications for the degree awarded.
Students are required to complete a total of 27 units within the programme, this includes the completion of 2 Core Courses (total 6 units), 5 Elective Courses (total 15 units), a MSc Dissertation (6 units) and a satisfactory performance on the continuous assessments and written examinations. Students are required to earn a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 to qualify for the MSc degree.
The Postgraduate Diploma shall be awarded to students who have attained a cumulative grade point average (cGPA) of 2.5 or above for the two core courses and five other elective courses and all courses with a grade of C- or above.
The programme is offered on both full-time and part-time bases. Part-time study is normally finished in two years. A 12-month full-time study mode is also available.
Lectures will be conducted on weekday evenings 6:30pm to 9:30pm (one meeting per course per week).
The medium of instruction is English. All teaching and learning materials are in English.
