AWARDS OF THE PROGRAMME
There are two classifications for the degree awarded.
(1)Master of Science in Environmental and Public Health Management
Students are required to complete a total of 27 units within the programme, this includes the completion of 7 courses (total 21 units), a MSc Dissertation (6 units) and a satisfactory performance on the continuous assessments and written examinations. Students are required to earn a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 to qualify for the MSc degree.
(2)Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental and Public Health Management
Students are eligible for the Postgraduate Diploma if they decide not to undertake a MSc Dissertation, but have met all the items listed above.
The programme is to be offered on a part-time basis, normally spanning two years. Extension of the study period of up to 4 years is possible. In order to provide students with maximum flexibility in time management, a 12-month full-time program is also possible.
Lectures will be conducted on weekday evenings 6:30pm to 9:30pm (one lesson per course a week).
MEDIUM OF INSTUCTION
The medium of instruction is English. All teaching and learning materials are in English.
